Review of the Tardis: A Stay in the Heart of NatureMy recent stay at the Tardis in Portmeirion was a delightful blend of comfort and convenience. This surprisingly spacious property, beautifully decorated by an owner with a background in art management, serves as a splendid retreat for travelers seeking both relaxation and adventure. The apartment boasts a well-appointed kitchen, complete with an electric kettle and a dining table that encouraged leisurely meals. With a flat-screen TV for cozy evenings, the lounge offers stunning views of the surrounding national park—a perfect spot to unwind after a day’s hike. the convenience of free parking on-site cannot be overstated, especially for those planning excursions like the nearby Snowdon railway. While we were fortunate to witness the aurora from the garden, the cozier elements of the property truly enhanced our experience. the bedrooms allowed for restful nights, crucial before our hiking trip. the host, also the local taxi driver, provided invaluable recommendations for dining, which added a personal touch. the Tardis provides an appealing mix of value and luxury, making it a memorable base for exploring the stunning landscapes of North Wales. My only regret is wishing I had booked a longer stay.
